New Dog Park in Prior Lake

The Swank Family had a very mellow weekend.  Other than getting our riding lawnmower fixed, the highlight was going to the new Spring Lake Park Dog Park in Prior Lake which opened a couple of weeks ago.  We could hardly contain our excitement to get inside.

Ain't no Party like a Puppy Party 'cause a Puppy Party Don't Stop!

We're pretty impressed with the new dog park.  It's not quite as big as the other one, but it has a lot of wide open spaces which is nice.  Because Sunny loves to run!  He gets ahead of us and then turns around to look at us like "Are you guys coming or what?"

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a Poop Fairy.  We're still required to pick it up on our own.  Miss Sheri doesn't seem to mind, though.  She likes to swat Luke over the head with it.

Afterwards we stopped at the gym so Luke could show us his Mad Skillz.  Then we went home.

We had so much fun at the new dog park, that we came back again on Sunday morning to show it to Avery.  After this picture, he told me that he can't wait until he grows up and is on his own so he doesn't have to stop and take pictures all the time.  So I figure I'd better take as many as I possibly can until that time happens!

The boy's robotics team reached a milestone this weekend when they were able to get their robot to run on it's own.  Now they just need to figure out how they're going to make this bad boy score and then they'll be in business!
