It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Todd Swank's Diary Entry for December 6, 2015

This is my view every week day morning when I first step off the bus in downtown Minneapolis.  I always take a deep breath and stare up in awe at the skyscrapers sitting in front of me.  Admittedly, it's a bit of a pain in butt commuting downtown every day, but I've always been fascinated with being in the midst of so many people and so much activity.  It makes me feel like Melanie Griffith in Working Girl.  Which is a nice feeling.

It was a pretty mellow week in Minnesota.  We didn't do too many exciting things other than taking the dogs to the dog park.  Quite honestly, even that wasn't all that exciting.

Blue had the chance to see snow for the first time this week which kept him entertained enough to get him to stop biting Sunny for a couple of minutes.  Then after he ate some snow, he went back to being a pain in Sunny's butt again.  It's his favorite thing to do in life.

Sunny does get his payback some times.  He doesn't do it very often, but every now and then he gets to be a pain in the butt for Blue as well.  It's weird to see our two male dogs who have been fixed give each other piggy back rides, but they seem to enjoy it.  My son Luke took this particular photo and emailed it out to our family with the tag line "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas."  Which was nice.

Even though they spend a lot of the day attacking each other, it's nice that they can put things behind them and rest with one another.

The highlight of our week was the pancake breakfast at the Prior Lake VFW supporting the high school band.  Them pancakes and sausage were pretty dang good.
